The husband of Victoria’s premier has lost his licence after drink driving in central Victoria.
Premier Jacinta Allan says Yorick Piper was driving to the supermarket in Bendigo when he rear ended another car at an intersection.
He was pulled over and blew over the legal blood alcohol rating at 0.05 BAC.
Mr Piper received an on the spot fine and lost his licence for three months from January 16th.
Premier Jacinta Allan says he and her family had celebrated their sons birthday at a local pub the night previously and that medication he is taking may have contributed to the incident.
