ASIS, ASIO and NSW Police would be explored if a royal commission into Bondi terror attack occurs

Former Liberal MP Jason Falinski says that Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s reasoning for resisting a royal commission into the Bondi Beach massacre is that security failures by ASIS, ASIO, and the NSW Police Force would be considered.

“Sticks out like a sore thumb, doesn’t it?” Mr Falinski told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.

“The truth of why he doesn’t want a royal commission is because it would have to look at whether there were clear security failures by ASIS and ASIO, or whether they happened at the NSW Police Force level.”
