Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan has urged residents to evacuate from areas affected by bushfires in regional Victoria.
“Listening to the advice and doing the right thing quite simply saves lives. I cannot be more clear, if you are currently still in a location where you have been advised to leave, you must leave now,” she said.
More than 700 firefighters are battling 40 fires across Victoria with catastrophic and extreme fire danger ratings in place throughout the state.
