Three Nationals senators have been forced to quit their frontbench positions after breaking shadow cabinet rules.
Opposition Leader Sussan Ley has released a statement saying she has accepted the resignations of senators Bridget McKenzie, Susan McDonald and Ross Cadell from the shadow ministry.
The Nationals last night broke ranks with the Liberal Party in the Senate and voted against the government’s hate crimes laws.
