Country music rising stars ‘Curry Mob’ draw crowds on Tamworth’s Peel Street

All this week, the streets of Tamworth are humming to the sounds of Australia’s best country music artists.

More than 700 musicians are performing across the 10 day festival in pubs, clubs and parks across the city.

But some of the best gigs happen on the streets with hundreds of buskers from around the country entertaining crowds along Tamworth’s famous Peel Street.

Dan Rennie caught up with one young brother and sister duo who’ve travelled more than 700 kilometres to take part.
