Guardian Australia’s poll to crown Australia’s favourite children’s picture book has officially begun, and Grandma Poss (AKA Matilda Boseley) is here to walk you through the voting process.
Cast your vote for the best Australian children’s picture book in our poll from 27 January to 5 February. The five books with the least votes will be eliminated each morning from 28 January, with tallies starting afresh at 9.30am. You can vote every day.
The final round of voting for the remaining 10 books starts at 9.30am on Wednesday 4 February, after which time vote tallies will no longer be visible. The book with the most votes when the poll closes at 9.30am on Thursday 5 February will be crowned champion. The winner will be revealed at 6am on Friday 6 February.
