Eyewitness video has captured the moment a massive fireball erupted near the Kochetovka-2 railway station in Russia.
Russia’s Ministry of Emergencies told the Tass state news agency that a number of train tank cars had caught fire on Wednesday.
According to state RIA news agency, Russia’s railway company said freight cars carrying fuel had derailed and caught fire, causing delays to passenger train travel.
However, sabotage linked to the war with Ukraine has been speculated online.
An investigation looking into the cause of the fire has begun, with no casualties immediately reported.
