United States health secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr and musician Kid Rock have embraced their inner gym bros in a new video released by the US government, with mixed responses from social media users.
Kennedy shared the video on X, which appears to be a smash cut of US iconography with shots of the secretary and Kid Rock exercising.
“I’ve teamed up with @KidRock to deliver two simple messages to the American People: GET ACTIVE + EAT REAL FOOD,” the post said.
Since taking on the role, Kennedy has drawn criticism from health experts, doctors and scientists globally.
In January, the US pulled out of the World Health Organization (WHO), with the health and human services department saying the move was due to the WHO’s “mishandling” of the pandemic, a claim rejected by the UN agency.
A joint statement from Kennedy and US secretary of state Marco Rubio read: “The WHO tarnished and trashed everything that America has done for it.
