US President Donald Trump has praised his economic achievements during his State of the Union address at Capitol Hill on Tuesday.
Trump opened his speech by saying, “members of Congress and my fellow Americans, our nation is back, bigger, better, richer and stronger than ever before.”
Before speaking on immigration rates, lower inflation, stock market gains and touting the effectiveness of his tariffs, Trump said after one year his administration has “achieved a transformation like no one has seen before and a turnaround for the ages.”
