Five members of Iran’s Women’s Asian Cup team have reportedly been granted asylum after they were labelled “traitors” by their home country.
The five players were moved to the safe house, managed by the Australian Federal Police and other authorities, from their Gold Coast hotel earlier on Monday. #iran #football #asylum #asiacup #australia
