During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Zendaya admitted that people she knew were legitimately tricked by the fake AI-generated images of her wedding.
Although she steered clear of revealing whether she had officially tied the knot, the actress said that “Many people have been fooled by [the photos].”
“I was, like, just out and about in real life, and people were like ‘Oh my god, your wedding photos are gorgeous.’ And I was like, ‘Baby, they’re AI.”
The digital artist who originally shared the photos, which amassed over 11 million likes, confirmed before deleting the images that “they are not real photographs”.
