One of the biggest manhunts in Australia has come to an end. Dezi Freeman is believed to have been shot dead in a standoff with police at a rural property in Victoria’s northeast. The self-proclaimed ‘sovereign citizen’ has been on the run in Victoria’s rugged bushland, wanted over the killings of two constables and injuring another, last August.
