King Charles has delivered a speech to Congress as part of his visit to the US to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence, finishing with a standing ovation.
It is the second time a British monarch has addressed American politicians in the chamber after Queen Elizabeth II did so in 1991.
The monarch will later attend a state dinner at the White House alongside Queen Camilla.
