Speaking to People, Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt agreed that âitâs all about the scriptâ, with Blunt adding that it also has to feature âthe core fourâ – the three of them, plus Stanley Tucci.
Luckily for the fans, a third installment does seem like something the cast are keen on, hopefully sooner rather than later.
Stanley Tucci told Entertainment Weekly, âI donât think we can do it in another 20 years. [Weâll] have to do it sooner than that, because Iâll be dead!â
The filmâs director added, âLetâs see what happens⌠We said no 20 years ago, and here we are. I donât want to say yes now. They are very rich characters, theyâre amazing actors, thereâs great screenwriting, so I could imagine that these characters might live on.â
