American Freedom Alliance Fellow Bradley Thayer accuses Chinese President Xi Jinping of attempting to undermine Donald Trump during their high-stakes meeting.
“What XI Jinping said to President Trump, really his reference to Thucydides Trap, that is that China’s rising and the United States is declining, was a considerable insult,” Mr Thayer told Sky News host Jamie Rogers.
“None of Xi Jinping’s attempted blows landed with Trump.
“It really is an indication of stasis in that relationship.”
