Calls for students to stay in school didn’t deter thousands across the country from striking on Thursday as they took part in a walkout in protest against Pauline Hanson. The ‘Say No to Pauline Hanson’ rally’s flyers, distributed by the National Union of Students, included calls to ‘fight against racism’. Support for Hanson’s One Nation has surged in the past 12 months and its primary now sits at 26%, according to the latest Roy Morgan poll.
