Pakistan’s Supreme Court has ordered jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan to be moved from prison to a hospital. The order comes just a day after prison authorities told the court that Khan’s eye condition had improved significantly and his vision was ‘almost normal.’ The development follows growing concerns over Khan’s health, including reports of high blood pressure, heart palpitations, anxiety and stress. Former President Arif Alvi had called his medical reports alarming and demanded urgent hospital care. Khan’s health has now become a major political flashpoint, with PTI questioning his medical access and treatment in custody. In this Firstpost Live episode, we explain how his health now fuels questions over Pakistan’s treatment of its most prominent opposition leader. Josh Barnes tells you more.
