Hollywood star Andrew Garfield has been blasted following his remarks attacking billionaires ahead of the release of his new film.
Last Thursday, Garfield appeared at a Los Angeles screening of Paul Greengrass’s ‘The Uprising’.
The film depicts the Peasants’ Revolt in 1381, with Garfield portraying the man whose story reportedly inspired the tale of Robin Hood.
During the screening, Garfield and Greengrass were asked what they hoped the audience’s “takeaway” from the film would be.
Garfield answered, claiming he hoped people’s “struggles” were being “reflected” in the characters before hoping that billionaires are “scared s**tless”.
