Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives at the 12th BRICS Parliamentary Forum in New Delhi, bringing together parliamentary leaders and delegations from BRICS member and partner countries. Hosted at the Parliament House complex in Samvidhan Sadan on October 26–27, the two-day forum focuses on “Fostering Parliaments for People-Centric Development.” Discussions will cover institutional resilience, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, global governance reforms and sustainable development. Delegations from 11 BRICS member countries and 10 partner nations are participating, with bilateral meetings and parliamentary exchanges also on the agenda. The forum comes as India holds the BRICS chairship in 2026, offering a platform to discuss shared priorities and strengthen parliamentary cooperation.
