Brian Sozzi read all of Anthropic’s IPO prospectus, and his call is that it may have killed the bear case on Anthropic and on a lot of tech alongside it. He gives three reasons, then argues the thing actually moving these stocks is hyperscaler cash flow rather than credit spreads.
He also takes Microsoft’s new voluntary exit offer against a workforce of 223,000 and says outright layoffs arrive next year.
Jim Neesen, Managing Partner, Connor Group, takes apart the filing: seven founders holding 50.1% of the vote, and an $80 billion net loss he says is not really a loss.
Plus Whirlpool, Coca-Cola, UPS and Hilton.
