Australia’s first footpath delivery robots have launched on the Gold Coast. The robots travel at walking pace, give way to pedestrians and are supported by trained remote supervisors, and customers can opt in or out through the DoorDash app. It’s the first Serve Robotics operation outside the United States, with more restaurants to join in the coming weeks.
