Flash floods in northern India have washed away a village in the state of Uttarakhand. At least four people have died and more than 50 are missing, with many feared trapped. Search and rescue efforts are ongoing. Indian authorities said the floods were triggered by a cloudburst — a sudden downpour of rain over a small area in a short period of time.
