Professor Mark Howden FAA has significantly influenced global climate science, policy, and public engagement through his extensive work over more than three decades. As a climate scientist at ANU – and now a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science – his integrative research on climate change, impacts, and sustainable solutions shapes global policy. A key contributor to multiple IPCC Assessment Reports since 1991, he also played a role in the body’s 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. Congratulations Mark!
