FBI Director Kash Patel clashed with Democratic Representative Eric Swalwell over the files of sex trafficker and paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
On Wednesday, Patel appeared at a House Judiciary Committee hearing where he was grilled over the Department of Justice’s handling of the files.
During the hearing, Swalwell demanded that the FBI director reveal any mention of US President Donald Trump in the Epstein files.
Patel, however, blasted Swalwell over his line of questions and the “baseless accusations” directed towards him.
“Your fixation on this matter and baseless accusations that I’m hiding child paedophiles is disgusting,” Patel said.
