President Donald Trump has revealed that the common over-the-counter pain relief drug Tylenol can lead to an increased risk of autism in unborn babies when used during pregnancy.
Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Association has said it is not investigating the link between Tylenol and autism for Australian consumers.
“The TGA has no current active safety investigations for paracetamol and autism, or paracetamol and neurodevelopmental disorders more broadly,” the regulator said in a statement.
