Initial pre-production on the Amazon show – based on Rebecca Yarrosā best-selling romantasy book of the same name – was announced October 2023.
According to Deadline, Wednesday season 2 executive producer Meredith Averill is now in āfinal negotiationsā to join the Amazon production as showrunner.
Fourth Wing is the first in a five-book series, and Yarros told Variety that Amazon is aware of the āfive-book arcā and all the āgeneral big points of what happens in between each bookā.
