At least 18 people have been killed and three others injured after a bus was struck by a landslide in Himachal Pradesh’s Bilaspur district.
Rescue efforts are still underway with officials fearing several passengers remain trapped under debris.
State and federal leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, have expressed condolences and promised full support for relief operations.
The tragedy comes amid relentless monsoon rains that have triggered deadly floods and landslides across northern India, killing more than 450 people in Himachal alone this season.
