Albanese Invites President Trump To Australia | 10 News

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has invited U.S. President Donald Trump to Australia.

During a wide-ranging meeting at the White House on Tuesday morning (AU time), Albanese confirmed he had invited the American President to Australia, with Albanese commenting that the timing should perhaps line up with when Australia hosts the Presidents Cup golf tournament in 2028.

The two leaders signed a significant rare earths deal between the U.S. and Australia, while also discussing the AUKUS submarine deal. President Trump also lashed out at former prime minister and current Australian U.S. Ambassador Kevin Rudd.
