Security camera vision has captured the moment a passenger train slammed into a truck at a level crossing in the Dutch town of Meteren, disrupting rail services between Utrecht and Den Bosch.
The truck appeared to stop and reverse before becoming trapped as the boom gates came down.
Seconds later, the train ploughed into the vehicle, sending debris flying across the tracks.
Five people suffered minor injuries, local media reported.
