A witness on board a train where a mass stabbing attack unfolded in the United Kingdom has described how she fled through carriages to escape.
Amira Ostalski described to Sky News UK how she saw a man in a white t-shirt “jump out of his seat out of nowhere”.
“And then people started shouting … ‘oh, he’s got a knife’,” she said.
As the stabbings began, Ms Ostalski and her friends ran in the opposite direction, taking shelter in the train’s kitchen.
“On the way there, we saw people covered in blood as well. It was horrific, it was really horrific because we had no idea where he was,” she said.
