A Romanian construction worker has died in hospital after being trapped under rubble following the partial collapse of a medieval tower under renovation in the Italian capital.
Parts of the 29-metre Torre dei Conti, near the Colosseum, crashed to the ground at least twice.
The tower had been due to be converted into a museum and conference space.
