4th NSW shark attack: why are suspected bull shark attacks on the rise?

A spate of suspected bull shark attacks in New South Wales has left beachgoers on edge.

Earlier today, a man was attacked at Point Plomer beach near Port Macquarie on the State’s Mid North Coast, escaping with only minor injuries.

It follows three separate attacks in Sydney over two days, at North Steyne Beach in Manly, Dee Why and Shark Beach near Vaucluse.
