A Western Australian family says they’re grateful to be alive, after their brave teenager swam four hours to shore to call for help.
Austin Appelbee, 13, swam more than 4km to shore to call for help, after he, his mother and two siblings were swept further out into the ocean during what was meant to be a simple school holiday activity on the water.
