US President Donald Trump has warned that US combat operations against Iran will continue in “full force” until all of Washington’s objectives are achieved.
“Our resolve, and likewise that of Israel, has never been stronger,” Trump said in a video posted to Truth Social, without outlining exactly what the objectives were.
The conflict between the US, Israel and Iran is escalating rapidly, with casualties mounting and missile strikes hitting Tehran and Israel.
US Central Command has reported three US service members have been killed in action and five seriously wounded.
“Sadly, there will likely be more before it ends,” Trump said. “But America will avenge their deaths and deliver the most punishing blow to the terrorists who have waged war against, basically, civilisation.”
