‘Any help would be really appreciated’: Farmers’ plea amid fuel shortages

National Farmers Federation CEO Mike Guerin says any help would be appreciated as regional farming communities are facing the brunt of fuel shortages.

“We’re part of a broader Australian community where we believe we contribute a lot,” Mr Guerin told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“Right now, we’re in a position where any help would be really, really appreciated … we need, for example, banks, to support trucking companies that are bringing fuel out … we need local communities to think about where they can save a little bit of fuel.”
