Speaking on the MAFS Funny podcast, she said, “Someone just DM’d me and said, ‘We’ll give you $6,000 to promote a gambling brand’… I could really use that $6,000 right now. Like, it would be really, really life-changing for me. But out of principle, why would I go and promote a gambling brand when one of my best friends has just spent 150 days not gambling after 15 years, just for a few grand to tide me over?”
Bec went on to say that even though she’s desperate for money, she has to really think about whether these sort of things would benefit her in the long run.
She added, “I think it’s really important to look and work out what does align with you and you don’t just take everything.”
