Toowoomba man Dharminder Singh appeared in Toowoomba Magistrates Court via video link, charged with one count of murder. He’s accused of killing his former partern Jana Armstrong.
More than a dozen of Ms Armstrong’s family and friends attended the hearing, including her sister Faith Isaacs, who was nursing Ms Armstrong’s four-month-old baby son in the front row of the public gallery.
Mr Singh has been remanded in custody, and the case has been adjourned until October 1.
