Australian high school students have recorded their worst maths and reading results in the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) exams.
Australian 15-year-olds have sat for the international standardized exams every three years since 2000.
While the most recent results show that Australian students are performing above their peers in many developed economies, global scores are at their lowest since testing began.
