Tech just had its best three days in about five weeks, and chip stocks led the way. Yahoo Finance’s Jared Blikre breaks down the close with Brooke DiPalma: the Nasdaq rose more than 1% while the Dow barely finished higher, and the equal-weight S&P 500 lagged as megacaps did the heavy lifting. Small caps kept pace with tech, energy fell about 2% as oil prices pulled back, and software was mixed as Salesforce slid while CrowdStrike and Oracle moved higher.
Market Domination, Market Domination Overtime and Asking for a Trend are live weekdays 3-5pm ET with Yahoo Finance Host Josh Lipton.
