Just as wolves found ways to lay by the fireside as our loyal hounds, it’s possible that Homo sapiens possessed traits and even visual features that meant we were friendlier. Increasing our chances of survival and potentially even changing our genetics.
However, this may also have left us prone to loneliness and depression when those connections aren’t there.
