Junior paediatrician Abdalkarim Alharazin has seen more suffering and death in Gaza than some doctors do in their entire careers.
From the frontlines he applied for and has been accepted into a master of public health at the University of Sydney – a dream he said he thought would be “impossible”.
“I’m not taking this as an opportunity just to leave Gaza, no – I did it for Gaza,” he said.
With significant hurdles ahead, logistically and financially, Alharazin joins Nour Haydar to talk about what he’s witnessed and his plans to rebuild Gaza’s health infrastructure
