Mobile provider TPG has confirmed a Sydney customer died after they couldn’t contact emergency services.
The telco says the caller’s Samsung phone was operating incompatible software that couldn’t connect to Triple Zero.
Although TPG says it previously warned customers using affected Samsung devices to update their software, some experts say the issue could have been better communicated.
