US President Donald Trump claimed in a Truth Social post that the Republican Party is “so united” as the GOP wrestles with internal divisions and infighting.
Trump singled out Rand Paul, Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene in the biting message.
“Other than Rand Paul, Rand Paul Jr.(Massie!), Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown, and a couple of other ‘lowlifes,’ and other than the fact that many want the Election threatening Filibuster TERMINATED (the Dems will do it in the first minute of their first chance!), and some don’t, there is great spirit and cohesion,” Trump wrote.
The president also claimed the Republican Party is “much bigger” than it was before his first presidential campaign in 2015.
This comes after US Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene announced her resignation from the House of Representatives effective January 5.
