‘A degree of civility’: Malinauskas calls out Aussie politicians for not having respect

South Australia Premier Peter Malinauskas calls out politicians who fail to show mutual respect and name-call each other.

“I’ve never won an argument by talking down to people,” Mr Malinauskas told Sky News host Caleb Bond.

“What we need now more than ever, particularly with the rise of populist politics, is to treat everyone with mutual respect.

“If someone’s got a grievance, there might be some legitimacy to it.

“We can come at it hopefully with a degree of civility.”
