U.S. Vice President JD Vance took a sarcastic swipe at Democrats after joking that a mosquito flying around him could be a drone funded by Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer. Vance quipped that he did not know Democrats had such technology, turning an ordinary insect into a punchline about political surveillance. The remark appeared to be political humor rather than a factual allegation, using Schumer’s name to poke fun at the Democratic Party.
