‘A real shame’: Princess Eugenie suffers the consequence of her father’s Epstein links

SkyNews.com.au columnist Louise Roberts discusses Princess Eugenie’s move to quietly give up a major royal charity role with Anti-Slavery International.

The youngest daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has stepped down from her role as patron of the world’s oldest human rights organisation after seven years of service and has since been wiped from the charity’s website.

“This is the reputational black hole that her father has created,” Ms Roberts told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.

“Because of his relationship with Epstein, anyone who’s adjacent to him gets sucked into this space where they’re having to drop you know projects and charity work because optics matter to charities.

“It’s a real shame.”
