A 17-year-old P-plater has allegedly been caught driving intoxicated with seven passengers crammed into his ute, including three riding in the tray.
Police intercepted the teen after he allegedly drifted between lanes on the Gold Coast, with the driver reportedly telling officers the group ‘didn’t want to pay for an Uber’.
The teen has since been charged and issued three traffic infringement notices totalling $966.
