Almost 1,000 people are now known to have been killed by twin earthquakes which rocked Venezuela on Wednesday.
The official death toll doubling in less than a day, and predicted to rise rapidly, with 50-thousand people missing.
While the interim president Delcy Rodriguez has vowed to save as many as possible, rescuers say there’s little chance of finding many more survivors.
