Angus Taylor struggles to stand out as Liberal Party polls slide

Former Labor senator Stephen Conroy spoke on the Liberal Party’s polling struggles and attributes them to Angus Taylor’s difficulty in making a distinctive impression on voters.

“I think the problem for Angus Taylor is that he looks and sounds like more of the same, whereas Andrew Hastie looks and sounds different,” Mr Conroy told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“I think Taylor struggles at the moment because … if the media wants to quote on something, they’ll go to Pauline Hanson, Barnaby Joyce, Matt Canavan.

“I think he’s struggling to really create an impression in the Australian public’s mind.”
