At least seven people were killed, and 28 injured, after gunmen opened fire inside a church in Jordan’s Karak province 90 miles south of the capital Amman, Jordan’s public security agency said.
The “unidentified” gunmen are being pursued, the security agency said, adding that the shooting happened during a funeral attended by Christians in the town.
Also, Israel began demolishing buildings and forcing residents to evacuate a neighborhood in the occupied West Bank on Friday, hours after two Palestinian gunmen opened fire on an Israeli military checkpoint, killing two soldiers.
